 Abruzzo has a very low relative population, with just 1.2 million for a large surface area and a widespread distribution and capillary consists of a few small towns and urban centers of high concentration (Pescara the largest city has only 122.000 inhabitants).All sites are characterized by relative low-cement and a relevant and effective care for landscape planning. The traditional properties have unique characteristics and "unchanging over time" from a rural or high-bourgeois culture of fine workmanship. The villages, although small, have always focused and functional basic services (postal services, banks, offices of local service businesses from restaurants to accommodation, food and stores of various kinds). The connections are well structured for a road system free of obstructions due to large flows. The people of Abruzzo are kind of harsh nature, strong and gentle at the same time. Surely they are warm and friendly with the guests, a feature really necessary for a successful integration. The genuineness of the products and the uniqueness of the recipes to the table make it a place of delight for gourmets and a balanced diet. In a few km (few dozens) away you can enjoy native and diverse environments ranging from mountains (glaciers and high peaks) to the sea, from the hills to the lakes, which meet the most diverse sports activities, hiking and relaxation. Life is "easy", generally the quiet dominates environments, although the traditions of the local folk create a colorful and appreciated sociality. |
